EOD Contracts Ltd "ECL" is highly proactive in all safety matters, not only with regard to our employees, but also in relation to the indigenous population and anyone coming into contact with our operations. We regard safety as paramount to all our activities and ensure it is planned into our projects at every level.
In addition to the presentations, awareness education and other EOD services provided by ECL; our staff have worked in the following countries over the last five years and carried out the following tasks successfully:
Iran - Oil Exploration:
Consultancy services including: Project management, production of risk assessments, design of clearance, standard operating procedures (SOP’s) Monitoring of day to day clearance and QA/QC activities, Mines Risk Education and first aid training.
Kosovo - United Nations
Demilitarisation. Weapons disposal and burning tank delivery. Weapons were dismantled, recorded and disposed of.
Oman - Seismic Companies
On site EOD support services and training, Risk assessment.

Our most recent project is in support to Armor Group North America supporting their clearance project in Gerdec, Albania. This was an interesting challenge; EOD Contracts designed a bespoke clearance mitigation strategy which included: Locator search, mechanical screening of soil and geophysical data logging with colour coded mapping to ensure the finished product was fit for it purpose.
France
We are currently providing specialist expertise in assisting the Commonwealth War Graves Commission to recover the remains of casualties of the Great War (1914-18). Our Engineers and Advisors are working closely with the Archaeologists and Forensic Scientists to ensure that items of Ammunition and Explosive Ordnance are identified, and safely removed to permit the complex operation of exhumation and identification to be conducted without further loss of life.
UK
Project Management, UXO desktop studies, UXO site specific risk assessments, UXO search and clearance, UXO surveys both intrusive and non-intrusive. EOD Contract has been supporting multi million pound projects within the United Kingdom on land and sea. These projects include wind farms on land and sea, fibre optic infrastructure, aviation authorities, construction industry, archaeology and the aggregates industry.
